AEG made locomotive 242/1904 was the first broad gauge electricity locomotive in Finland. The locomotive was brought to Finland in 1904 and it was used in timber company at St.Michels. Now the Finnish company named Mestarimallit has made the H0 kit of locomotive for 16,5 mm gauge.
The kit includes the ready-to-run underframe specially made for the kit. The underframe has the three point suspension and the coreless motor. The body is made by etched nickel silver. The kit includes all parts for building the model but not paints. Instructions will be also in German. The locomotive is a small series kit. It takes some months after kits are ready to delivery but enthusiasts can make the reservation now. We will send the invoice for customers when the kit it is ready for delivery — not now. The price for the kit is 220 euros including Finnish VAT 24 per cent.
You can also get the handmade ready-to-run model if you like (the DCC decoder is not included but possible to get for the extra price). The price for the readymade model is 550 euros including Finnish VAT. It takes some months to make handmade models so please ask for the timetable for that.
